Useful Tips and Tricks for Apple iPad

There is no doubt that Apple iPad is an amazing tablet. To get the most out of the great tablet, we would like to give you some tips and tricks when using your tablet.

1.       How much you know about the Home button
Most of iPad users know that when pressing the Home button, it will take you to the homepage. But do know that it can do more than that if you want. To give the Home button more ability, you should go to the “Settings” to make it. When comes to the “Settings”, click “General”, and then select “Home”. You are able to select a function that you would like a double click of Home button to carry out. 

2.       Pause an App Install
How to pause a loading app and start a waiting one? Sometimes we download or update several apps at a time. Usually, the first one shows as “Loading”, and the other shows as “Waiting”. What if you want to pause the first loading and start the waiting one? It can’t be easier. Only tap the one that is loading to pause it and then the following waiting one will starts loading.

3.       How to watch downloaded Flash SWF videos
Due to the lack of support from Adobe Flash, Apple can’t playback downloaded SWF videos on its iOS devices including iPad. So, if you want to play SWF on iPad, you are suggested to convert SWF to iPad supported formats like H.264, MP4, etc.

4.       Export keynote from iPad to Mac or PC
Here is the tutorial that shows you how to export Keynote presentation from iPad to Mac or PC with iTunes:
First of all, you need to connect the iPad to Mac or PC, and then choose iPad from the Devices list in iTunes. Secondly, choose the Apps tab from your iPad Settings window and scroll down to the File Sharing section to pick Keynote. There is a list of all Keynote presentations on your iPad Keynote Documents section. Pick the one that you’d like to export to our Mac or PC and press Save button. Finally, choose the destination to save the desired Keynote presentation.

5.       Back up iPad data
As a safety precaution, you might want to back up your files on iPad. We know that iTunes can automatically back up your data on iPad if you’ve synced the device with iTunes. However, if you want to make sure your iPad data has been backed up, you can force the iTunes to back up it. Sync your iPad with Mac or PC and then open iTunes. Find iPad in the Devices list in iTunes, and then right click it. You will find Back up there.

6.       Change a Mail Signature
After you send out an email using the mail app, you will see the signature “Sent from my iPad”. If you want a more stylish and personal signature, you can change it with the follow steps:
Go to “Settings” - choose the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” – tap “Signature” on the right panel- clear the “Sent from my iPad” and type a desired one – tab the “Mail, Contacts” button again after typing the new signature.
